Biography
Michael Lagoe moved from Upstate New York to Central Florida with his family in 2001 and completed high school in the area before going to the University of Florida, where he received a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry and graduated Summa Cum Laude. After completing Human Gross Anatomy at Georgetown University Medical School, he earned his Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) degree at the University of Central Florida and obtained board certification as a nurse practitioner (FNP-C).
He then worked for five years at a neurology and physical rehabilitation clinic that specialized in spinal conditions. While he was working, he obtained his Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) degree from the University of Central Florida. During the last year he worked at the neurology and physical rehabilitation clinic, it transitioned from neurology to pain management. At that time, Michael sought opportunities to continue working in the field of neurology and he soon, enthusiastically, joined the Neurology One team.
While working in the healthcare field, Michael met Bianca and they married in November 2021. He and his wife enjoy going on trips to a variety of destinations and visiting unique sites and attractions.
