Grace Thayer




Grace Thayer was born and raised in the Central Florida, Orlando area. She received a Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences at the University of Central Florida before decided she wanted to attend nursing school following graduation.

After graduation, she began her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at the University of Central Florida, then went on to be a bedside Registered Nurse at Orlando Regional Medical Center on a medical-surgical unit before transferring to Winnie Palmer Hospital for Women and Babies, where she was a Neonatal ICU nurse. While working as a bedside nurse, Grace earned her Doctorate of Nursing Practice from the University of Central Florida.

At her most recent job in the Neonatal ICU, Grace has precepted new graduate and experienced nurses, teaching both nursing skills as well as the importance of providing family-centered care. During her last rotation, Grace found her passion in the field of neurology, and after graduation joined Neurology One.

Outside of the work environment, Grace is married to her husband, Bobby, who she met in high school. She and her husband enjoy watching sports together and traveling.
