Experience the power of Neuro Fit Brain Fitness, a cognitive wellness program created by Dr. Lourdes Benes, a board certified neurologist fellowship trained in cognitive disorders. Dr. Benes developed Neuro Fit after seeing thousands of patients struggling with mild cognitive impairment in her practice. Neuro Fit has been designed to enhance mental acuity, promote brain health, and support overall cognitive well-being.
Neuro Fit Brain Fitness comprises of highly engaging and stimulating activities that will sharpen your cognitive abilities, improve memory, boost attention and focus, and enhance problem-solving skills. With a range of evidence-based techniques, tailored exercises, and personalized strategies, we optimize cognitive function and promote a healthy and active mind. Exercises focused on each cognitive function can aid in improving overall brain function, adapting to daily challenges, and enhancing quality of life. Training is tailored to each person to address specific cognitive functions according to the individual’s needs and goals.
Dr. Benes is the Medical Director at Neurology One and is a Faculty Member at UCF College of Medicine. She has been practicing medicine for over two decades caring for patients and caregivers dealing with conditions such as Parkinson’s, Alzheimer’s, Mild Cognitive Impairment, Frontotemporal Dementia and Lewy Body Dementia. Dr. Benes is an expert in brain health and brain fitness training for patients dealing with cognitive and behavioral disorders as well as people wanting to boost memory, focus, mental skills, reflexes and acuity.
As part of the faculty at UCF College of Medicine she gets to teach residents and medical students on numerous topics in neurology. She is a member of the American Academy of Neurology, American Medical Association, Movement Disorders Society and Florida Medical Association. Dr. Benes is currently doing clinical research and has published articles on scientific journals as well as gives educational lectures at numerous venues throughout the U.S to physicians and patients alike.
