Dr. Yifei Zhao is a board-certified nurse practitioner with a Doctor of Nursing Practice degree and a passion for delivering compassionate, evidence-based care. At Neurology One, she brings a thoughtful, patient-centered approach to adult and geriatric neurology, supporting individuals through complex diagnoses with empathy, clinical excellence, and clear communication.

She earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice from Purdue University and holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Baylor University. Her diverse clinical experience includes internal medicine, community health, and preventative care, with a strong interest in cognitive disorders and aging-related neurological conditions.

Dr. Zhao has also participated in health policy initiatives focused on mental health and has been actively involved in promoting diversity and inclusion within the nursing profession. She is a recipient of the Helene Fuld Health Trust Scholarship and a proud member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing.

I’m grateful for the opportunity to serve patients at Neurology One, where I can bring my background in adult and geriatric primary care into a collaborative neurology setting. My journey as a nurse practitioner has been shaped by a deep respect for each individual’s experience and a belief that the best care happens when clinical excellence is combined with empathy and education.
